Rafferty Capital Markets,
LLC, established in 1987, is the trading and brokerage
arm of Rafferty Holdings, LLC.
In 1987, Cohane Rafferty
Securities, Inc. was founded to package and trade a wide
variety of assets between the nation’s mortgage and
banking institutions. Over a fifteen year period, CRSI
became the recognized leader in providing investment
banking services to the mortgage industry. The business
was sold to Lehman Bros. in 2001.
Over the course of those
fifteen years, Rafferty Capital Markets, LLC primarily
facilitated trading for Cohane Rafferty. In 2002, the
decision was made to enter the capital markets brokerage
business. RCM quickly established a strong position
in the voice-brokering of U.S. Treasury and Agency
securities. In early 2004, RCM acquired J.J. Kenny
Drake from S&P and immediately became a factor in
the municipal bond market. RCM has since entered the
corporate debt and equity markets.

Rafferty Asset
Management was created to serve as the advisor
to Potomac Funds.
As of September 2004, RAM. manages more than $700
million in assets.
In 2002, Hilton Capital
Management was created as the asset management arm of
Rafferty Holdings, LLC. Hilton’s primary objective is
wealth preservation through the use of a variety of
fixed income instruments.
Rafferty Holdings, LLC has
headquarters in Garden City, New York and has regional
offices in New York, NY, Boca Raton, Florida and Los
Angeles, California.
